How to Print Shipping Labels Fast: Save Time and Paper on Every Order

2026-10-19 · 4 min read

Every order needs a shipping label, and the marketplace gives you a PDF. But those PDFs are often a full A4 page with a small label in a corner, mixed with invoices and other pages. Printing them as they are wastes paper, ink and time. When you ship 50 orders a day, the time adds up to hours every week.

The problems with marketplace label PDFs

The fast way

  1. Download all labels for the day in one batch from the seller panel.
  2. Crop each label to only the label area, and remove the extra white space.
  3. Put several labels on one page (for example 4 on an A4 sheet) if you use a normal printer. Cut and paste them on the parcels. Or fit one label per page if you use a thermal printer.
  4. Sort by courier, so each courier's parcels are packed and handed over together.
  5. Sort by SKU, so you can pick all pieces of one product at once.
  6. Print the packing list (SKU and quantity) along with the labels.

Which printer

PrinterGood for
Normal A4 printerLow volume. Several labels on a sheet, cut by hand, stick with tape or a pouch.
Thermal label printerHigh volume. One sticker per order, no ink, quick and neat. A common size is 4 × 6 inches.

Tips

Seller Book has a Label Sorter: upload your Flipkart or Meesho labels PDF, and it crops away the invoice, sorts the labels by SKU or courier, fits them to your label size and adds a pick list, so a day's labels are ready in minutes.
